In our Christmas Eve message, Andy shares with us about the Prince of Peace.  We seem to have no peace in our world.  Peace will only come through a relationship with Jesus Christ.  He is our peace.  When we know that, we can live out His peace each day.  

In our Traditional Sunday sermon we look at Luke 4: 16-21.  In this passage we see Jesus give His first sermon and we see that it is a message shows use what life will look like if we lived out the Good News in His name.  

In the message from our Blue Christmas service,  Andy shares from Matthew 23: 37-39.  In this passage we see Jesus pain as Jerusalem rejected Him.  He shares our pain and our loss and comes to us in our pain and loss.  Don't give up on Jesus.  He has not and will not give up on you, and me.  

In our Friday Rooted in Christ podcast, we take a moment to look what the year of Jubilee would have been for the Jewish people.  This year was a year to return things back to the original tribes; it was a time to release the captive. This is done to remind all of us that all things, all things are a gift of God's grace to us.  Let's always remember where our strength and life comes from.

Today as we finish looking at John 13: 31-35, we see Jesus tell us that we are to love one another as He loved us. This is how the world will know that we are His disciples. What does it mean to be a disciple?  What does the path of discipleship look like for us a Christians?  What does love have to do with it?
