Brilliant performances by both Nick Smart and John Daversa, alongside Evan Parker, Norma Winstone and the bands of the Royal Academy of Music Jazz Orchestra and Frost Jazz Orchestra. This recording is being released in conjunction with Brian Shaw and Nick Smart’s profound upcoming biography, Song for Someone: The Musical Life of Kenny Wheeler, set for release on February 14, 2025, via Equinox.
