The nature of the Gospel.

Restoration through redemption. 

Were redeemed by the Blood of Jesus and that is a core aspect of the gospel and preaching it. The gospel is a redemptive gospel aiming to restore our soul. Psalms 23 : 2. From the corruption of sin. 

Galatians 3:13: "Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, for it is written: “Cursed is everyone who is hung on a pole.”" 
1 Peter 1:18-19: "For you know that it was not with perishable things such as silver or gold that you were redeemed from the empty way of life handed down to you from your ancestors, but with the precious blood of Christ, a lamb without blemish or defect." 
Isaiah 43:1: "But now thus says the Lord, he who created you, O Jacob, he who formed you, O Israel: “Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name, you are mine." 

It is a saving Gospel. 

We are saved by confession of Christ as Lord and by believing he died on the cross for our sins. The saving nature of the Gospel aids us to receive salvation. There is no gospel with no confession and belief.

"If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved."
