A sneak preview of whats to come in Season 2 of Angelcast

We are back! After a longer than planned break we return with our regular format! In matched we give our first impressions of the GHB19 and the main changes to lists building, scenarios and command abilities. In Narrative, Andy discusses with Alex and Matt the upcoming Mind over the Realms charity narrative event due to be streamed live on July 13th 2019! Finally, in Open, the hosts talk about their impressions of Saga: Age of Magic and Matt tells us why he thinks its a great system to get into!

The boys are back together to talk about many things!

In matched, we discuss our recent trip to Northern Ireland for the Ulster Warlords event. We go over our lists, and do a quick rundown of the event.

In Narrative, we go over what it takes to do great social media coverage of an event, with respect to the recent London Masters event.

In Open, we talk about board games, with everyone bringing something to the table, so to speak. Sheriff of Nottingham, Betrayal of house on the Hill and Legacy games are covered.

In Episode 11 of Angelcast we’re joined once more by Da Loonking himself Donal Taylor in both Matched and Narrative: We go deep into the lore of the Gloomspite Gitz whilst Donal tells us how to win with Grotz, Squigs, Spiders and Troggoths.

In Open we have the scintillating conclusion of the big boss fight against Count Strahd Von Zarovich, lord of Ravenloft and Barovia... it’s going to be bloody.

In matched: Alex interviews Paul Rea of the Bastion Games fame about the upcoming team tournament Ulster Warlords: The Underworld Wars this February in Belfast. Regular listeners will know that the Angelcast presenters are fielding a team this year so Alex asks Paul about the pack, the team match up system and how Bastion Games aim to drive the hobby community in Ireland!

In Narrative: Adam and Alex take a quick break from the climax of the DnD campaign to discuss cycle 2 of the Necromunda campaign - Angels Canopy: Prospectors. Adam updates us on the progress of the Hazgard Oilers while Alex talks about the new custom comp in the campaign. We are also very excited to announce that Alex will be running the Necromunda GT at the LGT 2019 in partnership with www.yaktribe.games!

In Open: we invite listeners to join us at the table as Boswell and the unlikely band prepare to face their destiny as they and an army of werewolves attack Castle Ravenloft in the intense conclusion to our DnD campaign! DM deity Matt Hinton puts the group through their paces as they showdown against the overlord Count Strahd Von Zarovich. This is the first segment we have edited and we plan to release the second segment very soon as soon as it’s ready so check back soon.
