Angels on horseback

Riding down from the skies,

Look up and see

I'm not telling lies.

Pick a star in the sky

From the heavens above you,

And in the middle of the night

Your dreams will come true.

Elfins and fairies

Live by the lake,

But for angels on horseback

A home you must make.

Find them a corner

A little one will do,

Someplace in your heart

Something you won't rue.

They'll live there forever

At your beck and call,

For angels on horseback

Are really very small.

They'll fit into your heart

And your mind as well,

And whenever you wish

They'll have a story to tell.

With your angels on horseback

Tucked nearby,

Smiles will be aplenty

Without dreaming of the sky.
