Christ's letter to the church in Pergamum is both a powerful commendation and a solemn warning. Living where "Satan's throne" was, the believers courageously held fast to Christ's name even in the face of persecution and martyrdom. Yet the Lord rebuked them for tolerating false teaching and moral compromise within the church. This sermon calls Christians to stand boldly for the truth, reject compromise, guard the purity of Christ's church through biblical faithfulness, and rest in the glorious promises reserved for all who overcome by His grace.

In The Triumph of the Sovereign Savior – Part Two (1 Peter 3:18–22), we behold the supreme, cosmic victory of our resurrected King. Diving into the closing verses of Chapter 3, this exposition highlights The Salvation of the Sovereign, demonstrating how God miraculously preserves His remnant, seals our salvation through the pledge of a good conscience in baptism, and guarantees our eternal hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Turning to The Supremacy of the Sovereign, we gaze upon Christ's exalted enthronement at the right hand of God, where every angel, authority, and celestial power has been forced into absolute, permanent subjection beneath His feet.
