Has anger ever gotten you in trouble? Whenever you get angry you surrender control of your life to the one you’re angry with. Anger is a mental attitude sin and often leads to chain sinning. “Do not grieve the Holy Spirit whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor and evil speaking be put away from you with all malice” (Eph 4:30-31). Anger is often set up by an emotional reaction to unfair treatment. “This is a test that’s common to all humans” (1 Cor 10:13). because you have a sin nature, you have a tendency toward anger, and it must be addressed. This needs to start when you are young. Every child must learn respect for authority. Without authority and respect, there will be arrogance run wild. You need to learn to respond with forgiveness and not react with arrogance.
