My guest today is Kelly Davis. Kelly is from the U.S and is currently based in Lisbon, Portugal. Before Lisbon, she spent the last ten years in Asia, especially in Taiwan and South Korea. Kelly is an independent learning coach, ed-tech consultant, and previous cofounder of an online self-directed ed-tech startup, Kubrio.

My guest today is Rychelle Moses! Rychelle is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in criminal justice. She is a digital artist, a powerlifter, and a blue belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu. She worked as a domestic violence victim advocate and loved the prevention and education work she did.

Last year, she realized that going the traditional route and working in academia wasn't what she wanted to do, so she started exploring the online creator space. She has been writing a weekly online newsletter for almost a year. Her writing focuses on empowering women and advocating for those who can't advocate for themselves. In this episode, we talked about:

• jiu-jitsu training and how to find your fitness and martial arts community
• her domestic violence prevention work
