In tonight's show, we discuss the ongoing dilemma of what to do when you want to quit something, how to make the decision, how to know when you shouldn't quit, and how to find that motivation when the passion still burns inside you and you have to keep going!
YouTube is a complicated place with algorithms, likes, comments, engagement, qualifications, and all kinds of weird limitations. People who aren't in the YouTube community as a creator don't really understand why we do the things we do, why we say things a certain way, why we ask people to "smash that subscribe button" and "press a like," and maybe this will clear it up a little more.
Tonight, I want to discuss what it's like being a female petrolhead and how men sometimes treat us. These are just my experiences and my opinions and I know not everyone will agree with me; that's fine. I discuss what happens, how I deal with it, and what can be done about it. There's also a Fun Fossil Fact segment and the Creator Spotlight shines on Rock.Hounding.Adventures.
In today's episode, I discuss a little bit about why little white lies aren't always terrible if you're trying to Do Stuff outside and don't want to invite trouble. This is extremely helpful in geocaching and sometimes rockhounding, depending on the situation. There's also a Fun Fossil Fact segment, and a Creator Spotlight shining on Agate Dad.
In today's episode, I explain the future of this podcast, and talk about starting my YouTube channel. I describe some struggles with the startup, both internal and external, what I did to overcome it, and how I'm dealing with everything now. Also included are segments of Fun Fossil Facts, and Creator Spotlight.
Welcome to the AngieDoesStuff Podcast! This is meant to accompany and supplement my YouTube channel, AngieDoesStuff. All the issues and topics discussed here have likely originated from something that's come up during the course of Doing Stuff, filming, or something being discussed in the maker/finder community.
With that, thank you so much for being here, I hope you enjoy the podcast, and I hope I'll see you every week, when I talk about more Stuff!
(please bear with me as I get this thing off the ground! i'm learning as i go!)
