Former Baltimore Colts linebacker and St. Patrick's HS prep star Tony Bertuca joins John and Mark to discuss his career and share stories about NFL legends like Paul Brown, Mike Curtis and Bert Jones.  He also lets the boys know what he has been up to lately.

Chicago Wolves great Steve Maltais joins the boys to discuss his hockey career.  A career which started in Cornwall with the Royals under former Blackhawk coach Orval Tessier to his time in Tampa with the Bolts and ultimately to captaining the Wolves and having his #11 retired.  Steve shares some stories about what takes place behind the scenes and what players do to be ready when the puck drops.

If your son or daughter ever played travel hockey in Illinois they probably have been on the ice with Kenny McCudden.  He  has worked with over 125,000 players (amateur-professional) across the nation. Kenny shares stories about his experiences while winning a silver medal in 2014 with the US Women's Olympic Hockey team. He also shares stories about  former Blue Jackets coach John Tortorella.  Kenny is entering his 6th season as an assistant coach with the Blue Jackets.

Ron Onesti is an entertainment industry powerhouse and is recognized as an innovative leader across the country.   In addition, he is an accomplished writer and successful restaurateur.  As a leader in the Italian community it is very possible that you may have attended a festival Ron founded like Little Italy Fest-West in Addison.  In 2020 Ron was named the President of the Italian American Sports Hall of Fame.

Mark joins the boys to discuss his award winning career.  He shares stories about some of his legendary mentors like Chet Cappock as well as covering the Chicago Championship eras. Being a proud "Hockey Dad" Mark recalls the road trips and some "crazy hockey" parent stories. We even get a preview of what Mark might have planned for his future.

Former Daily Herald sportswriter Bruce Miles joins the podcast in this episode. Bruce shares stories from his days on the beat. Highlights include him covering World Series wins on both sides of town as well as the emotional 1991 NHL All-Star Game at the Chicago Stadium.
