Every child is a special delivery with unique characteristics. As they grow, they begin to blossom – unfold – and reveal who they are: outgoing or reserved, bold or cautious, artistic or analytic.  At some point we tend to pull back – fold in again. We find it is safer that way. We shield ourselves and often become more self-conscious. To some extent that is appropriate. But many of us fold in or recoil too far.  When we do that, it can inhibit our ability to fully engage with others – and in life in general. How can we bring back that exuberance and feel the joy of expressing our true selves?
