A followup to our Sailor Moon episode, this week we focus on a modern take of the magical girl genre of anime: Madoka Magica! In a show which Nietzsche would fawn over like a little girl, the universe is meaningless, good things are really bad, and perhaps bad things aren't so bad? Girls in bouncy outfits with magic powers shouldn't make us think this much about the nature of our world!

Aahhhhhhhhhhhh! We're back with a show that will probably make you go "oh yea, I remember that one". We return to early Nickelodeon with the gross, gag-filled show that is Aaahh!!! Real Monsters. We review its inception, aesthetic and some different ideas present throughout. This weeks show is a bit shorter and slightly more tangential, but we hope you like it!

Fall is upon us, so we are getting in the spirit with some spooky fun! Over the Garden Wall is a beautiful miniseries that ran on Cartoon Network in 2014. We hope you love it as much as we did.
