  • Episode 013: Interview with Mimi Woods (FIRST EVER AUDIO INTERVIEW)(Ghost in the Shell Movie 30th Anniversary)

Voiced By Aramis Babcock, Edited /Directed By Quint Mason III.

    Featuring Mimi Woods

Welcome to Animaze...ing the Stories of Kevin Seymour I am your host Aramis and this is Episode 013 of the show, Interview with Mimi Woods.

My guest today I was told would be illusive to track down, a "Ghost" if you will. Well it turns out you just gotta network your way there. Mimi Woods was there at the beginning of Animaze/LA Hero alongside the Fahn Family, Steve Blum, Victor Garcia and a handful more. You may know Mimi the most as "The Major" Motoko Kusanagi from the original Ghost in The Shell Film released in 1996 in North America. She also appears in most of LA Hero/Animaze projects leading up to 1996 when she moved out of LA, only appearing in a few more before leaving the acting industry for good. Her last role was in the 2000 video game The Bouncer.

According to Mimi this is her first audio interview she has done, with the only other interview being in the 1997 1st issue of PlayStation Magazine which was conducted while recording for the PS1 video game.

Lastly I am glad to have recorded this during the films 30th anniversary and I do plan to coincidently have Richard Epcar and his wife Ellyn on the show this year as well.

Sit back as Mimi and I talk the stories of Kevin, of Animaze, and of the industry back then.

I appreciate everyone who is tuning in and thank you for your continued viewership.

  • Episode 012: Project Update Log 005

Voiced/Edited By Aramis Babcock, Scripted By Quint Mason III.

Welcome to Animaze...ing the Stories of Kevin Seymour I am your host Aramis and this is Episode 012 of the show, Project Log 5.

Its been a minute, life got busy and I did not want to rush this. First thing, I finally fixed my Audio so no more ground looping (I know Joe pointed that out in my first episode so I am glad I could get it fixed, only took 11 more episodes lol)

Second, more episodes will be coming more frequently now that I have more leads and a better idea of how I want to structure certain episodes.

I quickly want to thank Richard Epcar, Michelle Ruff, and Eddie Correa (aka MixterEd) for talking with me more about Kevin and offering to help me and let me poke their brains. I look forward to it.

Archive should be updated by the end of the week and an episode on both Code Geass (Ep1/Ep2) and Guyver should also be coming soon.

I plan on streaming on YouTube, specifically on building my archive, editing my episodes, or playing through Animaze videogames.

  • Episode 008: Stories from Ghost In The Shell/Catnapped! From Mary Claypool (+Director Log Updates)

    Voiced/Edited By Aramis Babcock,

    Scripted By Quint Mason III.

Welcome to Animaze...ing the Stories of Kevin Seymour I am your host Aramis and this is Episode 008 of the show, Stories from Ghost In The Shell/Catnapped! From Mary Claypool (+Director Updates).

First, shoutout to Mary Claypool for chatting with me last week, she is just a big a nerd of niche films as I am and was just an absolute treat. I look forward to speaking with her more.

This episode revolves around discussing some of the stories I was regaled with by Mary during our phone call regarding Catnapped! and Ghost in the Shell (1996), and nerding out about Catnapped! as well. Stay tuned to an interview with her in the future.

Also want to thank Jason Charles Miller again for his advice on posting my show on multiple platforms, it helps make my show accessible and I really appreciate that.

Lastly, I will be putting up a place to donate as some of my family wants to in order to keep the lights when I have a prolonged gap between gigs/commissions. Any help is appreciated.

I appreciate everyone who is tuning in and thank you for your continued viewership.

Voiced/Edited By Aramis Babcock, Scripted By Quint Mason III. Welcome to Animaze...ing the Stories of Kevin Seymour I am your host Aramis and this is Episode 007 of the show, Project Log 4.

Apologies that this is late and it is short. The commissions took up a ton of my time this week. The big breakthrough has been getting in touch with the amazing Mary Claypool from Magnitute 8 and talking with her. She is an absolute gem to speak with both about nerd culture and Kevin. I look forward to picking up our conversation after Anime LA and IkkiCon.

Next episode will be more meaty and have some fun stories to discuss. Until then keep an eye out for my youtube channel if that is your preference in content.
