Anime Was (Not) A Mistake

Anime Was (Not) A Mistake takes a quick pit stop from pirating, as we trade in our cutlasses for Hitori Hanzo steel. With Kill Bill: Volume 1 we seek out red-tinted vengeance against The Deadly Viper Assassination Squad and trek the globe, from California to Okinawa, one way. If anime was given a genuine live-action treatment then this movie really makes us want to wiggle our big toes. If you have anything else to say now if the f&*kin time! Bang, Bang, this podcast shot us down.

Anime Was (Not) A Mistake embarks on one last trip to the dueling arena. In our longest episode to date, some time has passed and we have all grown older. The characters that we have come to love and understand seem very different. Utena's memory is hazy, Anthy has a new look, and I won't even touch on the repressed memories bubbling to the surface. Everything changes and isn’t that the price of growing up? You’ll have to find out as we watch Adolescence of Utena. Make sure your seat belts are buckled and please mind the speed limit.

In Anime Was (Not) A Mistake’s first (NSFW) episode we are off to Daten City to analyze the antics of two anarchy angels in Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt. These gorgeous gals may be sent from Heaven, but they love to raise some Hell. There is enough boppin tunes, jaw dropping lewdness, and  raunchy language, that you may need to wash your mouth out with soap and a clean pair of underwear after listening. Let’s Fly Away Now, Fly Away Now, Fly Away!

After witnessing Two Heroes in action and facing the End of the World, we resume our retrospective of Mobile Fighter G Gundam. The nefarious Devil Gundam is on the rise and Domon Kasshu seems ill-equipped to handle it. Master Asia affirms his dedication to this mechanical menace, forcing the Shuffle Alliance to sacrifice the remainder of their brief screen time. We hope you'll join us for more giant robot battles, fierce rivalries, and some weird line about a lighthouse. Gundam Fight All Set! Ready? Go!

Anime Was (Not) A Mistake finally ascends to the dueling arena to confront the apocalypse. With the last three episodes of Revolutionary Girl Utena, there are still so many questions left to be answered, but we don’t want to give everything away. What you can expect? Plenty of roses, betrayal, and a climax you won’t ever forget. If we don't break the world's shell, we will die without truly being born. Smash the world's shell, for the Revolution of the World … and podcasts, we suppose.

Today on Anime (Was) Not A Mistake, Domon continues on his quest to find his brother Kyoji and win the 13th Gundam Fight. We take a look at four action-packed episodes featuring mummies, quirky monks, lots of ribbons, and even a piano number. We hope you'll join us to witness this battle between light and dark fingers. And who exactly is this Master Asia guy? He seems a tad suspicious, but maybe that's just the heat getting to us...

Rev up your engines and start cracking the world's shell as Anime Was (Not) A Mistake returns to Revolutionary Girl Utena with a fast-paced look at season 3. Akio and Anthy seem close ... after all they are siblings? However, is there something brewing right below the surface, and besides, Nanamie  is laying eggs now...what is that about? This and probably many more questions lie in wait on this episode. Did you hear? Did you hear? He prefers Mayo over Ketchup?!?!
