It’s been a long time since I’ve uploaded a new podcast episode. This is not a usual Animist Activist episode. This is, instead, an audio recording of a collective tarot reading I was called to generate.

I almost never do collective readings, though I have been a tarot reader for over ten years now, and I do read for individuals professionally. Something was up though, this full moon. Could be that it’s in convivial Gemini and Mercury’s freshly direct!

In any case, if you listen, I hope this supports you in some fashion. The energy is channeled through the culmination of this full moon, but it seems the content applies to the next couple of months, through the “holidays.”

We the context of “weed” as a label. It’s all about a plant’s ability to be in the right place at the right time (according to human ideals!)

Certain plants fall in and out of fashion through the human lens, as human histories, tastes, and habitats change.

Especially, we celebrate a personal favorite among the classification of “weeds,” gorgeous Dandelion!

Here is a preface to episode 3. Perhaps this is also an addendum. It can be either. It is not necessary to listen to this in order to take in the content of Episode 3 “Grieving in the Thick of It: Animistic Practice and Invasive Species". I made this recording for personal reasons, and to give a bit of background on what the process of making this episode was like.

This is a quick recording that I made outside of my studio. The quality is potato, but the content is a ruby red delicious vine- ripened Summer Tomato.
