Throwing the Random Number Generator’s opinion to the wind, we shunned Legend of Basara this week to watch Millennium Actress – a film from the same studio as Perfect Blue and Paprika. TRASH TEST was one of the most horrific dubs ever inflicted on mankind and our new NOW PLAYING, Mob Psycho 100, proved to be a winner.

Sure is summer in here! That’s right, we’re kicking off the Summer 2016 anime season with a full roster of newcomers: all 13 episodes of ReLIFE, and double-barrel TRASH TEST of hideous new shows Scared Warrior Xechs and Onara Gorou, which is literally about a fart.

It’s another TRASH TEST TRIPLE THREAT this week, as our three intrepid ani-marauders traverse through Popee the Performer, Ninja Slayer and Inferno Cop. Also, AnoHana may have gotten a few eyeballs wet.

As our podcast reaches legal drinking age in the US, a stiff bourbon is most definitely needed to dull the sting of early noughties space opera Cosmo Warrior Zero. TRASH TEST this week, Arcade Gamer Fubuki, goes down a little smoother – although our NOW PLAYING grand finale for Bungou Stray Dogs is more of a dry white than a complex red.

NEXT WEEK: anohana: The Flower We Saw That Day (http://myanimelist.net/anime/9989/Ano_Hi_Mita_Hana_no_Namae_wo_Bokutachi_wa_Mada_Shiranai?q=the%20flower%20we%20saw)

Dónal, Ronan and Nina go all-out this week tackling Berserk: The Golden Age Arc III – Advent/Descent, along with a double TRASH TEST consisting of vaporwave sitcom Sekkou Boys and 30-seconds-per-episode Ragnastrike Angels. Bungou Stray Dogs, as usual, rounds out the show as our NOW PLAYING anime.

NEXT WEEK: Cosmo Warrior Zero (http://myanimelist.net/anime/1676/Cosmo_Warrior_Zero?q=cosmo)
