Si hay un reto que no quería que llegara, era este. Todavía recuerdo cuando salió el primer post anunciando el evento y como sería todo, todavía recuerdo esa primera vez que leí "reto de pasarela" y mi estómago se sintió un poco contraído. Cuando llegó la hora de hacer el primero, debo admitir que no pude, Vi mi vídeo, me juzgue, me condené, y no tuve la fuerza de participar.

¿Que cambió?

Esta competencia ha ido más allá de un simple concurso de belleza, ver tantas mujeres descubriéndose, brillando, y atreviéndose a mostrar quienes son y como son, verlas a ustedes, que se que algunas me estarán leyendo, me inspira. Ver la fuerza que tienen de atreverse... Si ustedes pueden ¿Por qué yo no?. Las inseguridades son algo inmenso, y nadie está exento, no podemos juzgar, y aún teniendo esto claro, no podía dejar de juzgarme a mi misma.

Pasa algo con los vídeos que me da pánico: Todo es muy real.

¿Y a qué me refiero con esto?

Con las fotos me siento en mi lugar seguro, muchas poses, mil fotos, y 3 que salen bien. De cierta forma, puedo adaptar mi imagen, con el ángulo correcto y la luz indicada, puedo verme como quiero que me vean. Con los vídeos, eso no pasa... Por lo menos no conmigo. Mi experiencia en video es nula, grabarme era exponerme, y por alguna razón, esto me daba (y sigue dando) algo de miedo. Esa autoexigencia impuesta por uno mismo consume, y mucho.

Pero, viendo el mes pasado las participaciones de muchas de las participantes... Me sentí... En un lugar seguro. Leyendo sus comentarios de apoyo con otras, viendo como modelaban, como se atrevían.

Este es mi primer reto de pasarela, se que podré mejorar, dentro y fuera de la competencia, pero siempre hay un comienzo, un punto de referencia, y este es el mío. Hice lo que pude, y aunque reconozco que tal vez mis tomas modelando no sean tantas, para mí representa algo más grande a nivel personal, así que el simple hecho de compartirlo, es suficiente.

Cerrando el mes Glam, este que estuvo lleno de brillo por todas partes, decidí usar un vestido con protagonismo, un vestido que el solo tuviera personalidad. Y no se imaginan cuánto ame usar este vestido. Su corte imperial me hacía ver más alta, más imponente (y eso que solo mido 1.58cm jajaja). Es increíble como una sola prenda, te puede generar confianza. Eso causó este vestido en mi.

Amo la combinación de los tonos plateados con la piel morena, me fascina, así que me emocioné con este outfit, ya que las prendas plateadas quedarían perfectas.

Sin embargo, solo utilicé unos zarcillos que hicieran juego con mi maquillaje (mismo que se puede apreciar mejor en el vídeo).

Las fotos fueron tomadas en la flor de Venezuela, y les confieso que no venía a este lugar desde que tenía 11 años. Así que por esa parte fue genial.

Y por último pero no menos importante, volver a hacer mención a todas las participantes, y agradecerles también, de ustedes saque la inspiración y parte de mi fuerza para seguir cumpliendo (con este reto en específico), y recordarles que ustedes pueden, todas podemos, yo ya estoy orgullosa de sus trabajos, y que toda esta experiencia, descubrimiento y cambio, vale como no se imaginan.

I know it's late and unpunctuality is penalized, however, I didn't want to stop sharing my participation with you.

If there is a challenge that I didn't want to come, it was this one. I still remember when the first post came out announcing the event and how everything would be, I still remember that first time I read "runway challenge" and my stomach felt a little contracted. When it came time to do the first one, I must admit I couldn't, I watched my video, I judged myself, I condemned myself, and I didn't have the strength to participate.

What changed?

This competition has gone beyond a simple beauty pageant, to see so many women discovering themselves, shining, and daring to show who they are and how they are, to see you, who I know some of you will be reading me, inspires me. Seeing the strength you have to dare.... If you can Why can't I? Insecurities are something immense, and no one is exempt, we can't judge, and even having this clear, I couldn't stop judging myself.

Something happens with the videos that makes me panic: It's all very real.

And what do I mean by this?

With photos I feel in my safe place, lots of poses, a thousand photos, and 3 that come out well. In a way, I can adapt my image, with the right angle and the right light, I can look the way I want to be seen. With videos, that doesn't happen.... At least not with me. My video experience is null, recording myself was exposing myself, and for some reason, this gave me (and still gives me) some fear. That self-imposed self-demand consumes me, and a lot.

But, watching last month the participations of many of the participants.... I felt... In a safe place. Reading their supportive comments with others, watching how they modeled, how they dared.

This is my first runway challenge, I know I can improve, in and out of the competition, but there is always a beginning, a benchmark, and this is mine. I did what I could, and although I recognize that maybe my modeling shots are not so many, for me it represents something bigger on a personal level, so the simple fact of sharing it, is enough.

However, I only used earrings that matched my makeup (which can be seen better in the video). The photos were taken in the flower of Venezuela, and I confess that I had not come to this place since I was 11 years old. So for that part it was great.

All the photos are my own, taken by my production team, which is made up of my stepfather and a friend ❤️

They also helped me record and I make this special mention to thank them for their support❤️ And last but not least, I would like to mention all the participants again, and thank you too, I took inspiration from you and part of my strength to continue fulfilling (with this specific challenge), and remind you that you can, we can all , I am already proud of your work, and that all this experience, discovery and change is worth as you can not imagine. El impacto que esta teniendo Hive's Top Model es increíble, no pude evitar interesarme y querer participar!

Hola, Soy Anji, diminutivo de Anjani, y esta es mi presentación para la inscripción del evento. Llena de expectativas y emoción, se que sera algo que muchas disfrutaremos.

Déjenme contarles un poqutito sobre mi, Estudio Artes Plásticas, Amo el maquillaje, me gusta la fotografía, desde pequeña mi mami me ponía a tomarle mil fotos, y con el tiempo, me empezó a gustar tomarme fotos a mi.

Me emociona este evento, se que va a sacar nuestra modelo interior, me costo un poco dar el paso de participar, pero cuando me informe mas, con todo lo de los retos dije "Ok, esto va a estar buenísimo, definitivamente quiero entrar".

Que emoción regresar al HiveOpen Mic esta semana. De verdad jamás me hubiera imaginado el inmenso apoyo que recibimos mi padre y yo en nuestra primera entrada una semana atrás, estamos agradecidos, y motivados.

Entrar a la comunidad ha sido una experiencia que me ha encantado, porque todos son muy cálidos, se apoyan, y te comparten un poco de lo que saben, te orientan, y te ayudan a mejorar, sobre todo a los que tienen menos experiencia y están descubriendo como funciona (como yo, y mi padre).

Ha sido una travesía montar esta canción, pasaron varias cosas antes de empezar a grabar, y durante las grabaciones, que cada vez se hacía mas complicado, y si por un momento existió la idea de rendirse, esta misma desapareció al recordar la temática de esta semana "Nada es imposible". Respiré, y con muchooo amor, hoy junto con @neoculto, les compartimos nuestra participación.

Cuando escuché que la temática de esta semana sería "Nothing is impossible", de una vez se me vino a la mente este tema, compuesto por mi padre, que que habla sobre seguir adelante sin importar si estamos atravesando por un túnel, o por una situación difícil.

@neoculto: Si nos damos una oportunidad de seguir adelante, todo aquello que parecía imposible de realizar, se vuelve una realidad si uno lo anhela con un deseo ardiente. Y el primer paso es dejarnos de lamentar, ir más allá de los límites puestos por nosotros mismos, levantarnos y continuar, teniendo en mente, que todo es posible, si lo deseamos con la resolución correcta.

En el video pasado pusimos bloopers porque nos pareció divertido, fue un respiro cómico a todos los nervios de la primera vez.

En esta ocasión, llegamos al acuerdo de seguir haciéndolo. Los espectadores solo ven el producto final de lo que uno entrega, pero no todo el proceso que eso conlleva.

Yo personalmente me estresaba mucho o me sentía mal si el video o la canción no me salían a la primera, me frustraba, y es que por supuesto, pueden haber personas que a la primera les quede perfecto, pero también comprendí, que hay muchaaas otras que pueden grabar el mismo video 80 veces, que se les haga de noche, o dejarlo para otro momento, porque todo es un proceso. Entonces lo bloopers además de ser un descanso divertido, es esa parte humana que muestra un "Mira, yo también me equivoqué, no te castigues si no sale bien a la primera, mejor disfruta el proceso".

Y si de casualidad, tú que estas leyendo esto, has pasado por una situación similar, espero te ayude, tenemos que aprender a no ser tan crueles con nosotros mismos (cosa que a mi me ha costado muchísimo, pero hey... "Nada es imposible"😉)

What a pleasure to be back on the HiveOpen Mic this week. I really could never have imagined the immense support that my father and I received in our first entry a week ago, we are grateful, and motivated.

Entering the community has been an experience that I have loved, because everyone is very warm, supportive, and they share a little of what they know, guide you, and help you to improve, especially those who have less experience and are discovering how it works (like me, and my father).

It has been a journey to assemble this song, several things happened before starting to record, and during the recordings, that each time made it more complicated, and if for a moment there was the idea of giving up, this same idea disappeared when remembering the theme of this week "Nothing is impossible ", We breathe, and with much love, today along with @neoculto, we share with you our participation.

When I heard that this week's theme would be "Nothing is impossible", at once this song came to my mind, composed by my father, which talks about moving forward no matter if we are going through a tunnel, or a difficult situation.

@neoculto: If we give ourselves a chance to move forward, everything that seemed impossible to realize, becomes a reality if one longs for it with a burning desire. And the first step is to stop regretting, go beyond the limits set by ourselves, get up and continue, keeping in mind, that everything is possible, if we desire it with the right resolution.

In the last video we put bloopers because we found it funny, it was a comic respite to all the nerves of the first time.

This time, we agreed to keep doing it. Viewers only see the final product of what you deliver, but not the whole process that goes into it.

I personally used to get very stressed or feel bad if the video or the song didn't come out the first time, it frustrated me, and of course, there may be people who get it perfect the first time, but I also understood that there are many others who can record the same video 80 times, or leave it for another time, because everything is a process. So bloopers, besides being a fun break, is that human part that shows a "Look, I made a mistake too, don't punish yourself if it doesn't come out right the first time, better enjoy the process".

### Hola a todos, espero se encuentren muy bien y que tengan mucha salud!

Me alegra regresar por estos lares para compartir un poco de todo lo que me gusta, se que bien me conocen por mi contenido de maquillaje, pero hay una faceta de mi que solo conoce mi familia, y es que de manera muy tímida... me gusta cantar.

Literalmente casi todos en mi familia cantan, mi mamá, mi papi, mis hermanos, y hasta mi madrastra (o mi mami rose, como me gusta decirle), y yo siempre los he admirado, pero debido a esto solía compararme mucho o sentir que no tenia el talento que ellos poseían. Pero fueron ellos mismos quienes me dieron ánimos, y confiaron en mi, me hicieron saber que nadie nace aprendido, y que si es algo que de verdad me gusta, que importa lo que digan los demás?.

Entonces hoy estoy aquí, atreviéndome, y con los nervios a mil, pero comprendiendo que a veces esta bien salirse de nuestra zona de confort, así que hoy les traigo mi primera participación en el Hive Open Mic, junto con @neoculto, que también es su primera partición, estamos debutando juntos jajaja.

Le agradezco mucho a mi padre por haberme apoyado, ya que fue El el que me propuso hacer esto juntos. Este tema lo escucho desde que era pequeñita. Mi papá me contó que lo compuso cuando él tenía 9 años, fue su primera canción, y siempre me ha gustado. Así que decidí subirlo, aprovechando la temática de esta semana. Y si, estaba un poco nerviosa, porque es mi primera vez en una iniciativa de música de toda la vida, ya que antes, sólo había cantado para mí, pero también me emociona mucho compartir esto con ustedes😊.

I'm glad to be back in these parts to share a little bit of everything I like, I know you know me well for my makeup content, but there is a side of me that only my family knows, and that is that in a very shy way... I like to sing.

Hoy, pinto mi mándala de arcoiris, porque un color a veces no es suficiente ❤️

En el video está un poco dek proceso, grabé el video desde el tiktok de mi padrastro.

Hice mi lineas guías, y despues comencé a hacer el mándala con marcadores de punta fina, después pinté con colores.

¿Como se encuentran?, Espero que muy bien.

Antes de explicar el paso a paso, me gustaría contarles la historia de este dibujo...

Cada 10 de cada mes, dos personas celebran juntos. Almas jóvenes que se quieren, se están conociendo, aprendiendo uno del otro. Y esa no fue la excepción con el pasado 10 de octubre...

En la mañana se encontraron, y entre risas se hizo la tarde, llegaron a una plaza, y tomaron asiento, se abrazaron y era perfecto.

Entonces uno de ellos , de la nada, sacó una bolsa, y ¡Pam!, ¡Tan ta taaaaaaaan!, Esta tenía helado. Comieron juntos y tomaron una foto.

Y de esta foto, nació un dibujo...

Primero, comencé haciendo el boceto en una hoja blanca, después de varios borrones, quedó listo.

Después, pasé el boceto a una hoja especial para acuarela.

Pero antes de comenzar a dibujar o pintar, le coloqué cinta adhesiva en los lados, esto para evitar que la pintura se salga de los márgenes.

Y comencé a pintar.

Nos vemos otra vez, en esta ocasión con un video, el cual me emociona mucho mostrarles.

Hoy hice un mándala, y decidí grabar el paso a paso.

Los mandalas son asombrosos, aparte de ser muy bonitos, son un ejercicio de relajación genial, por lo menos en mi experiencia personal. Adoro hacerlos y pintarlos. Lo mejor de ellos es que cada modelo sale diferente, y tienes un sin fin de patrones y detalles que puedes ir agregando, el limite es tu imaginación. Literalmente puedes hacerlo que quieras, mientras vaya fluyendo. lo importante es que tenga simetría y sigan un patrón.

Cabe recalcar que de fondo utilice canciones de Harry Styles, porque ¡vamos!, él es lo máximo.
