  • ANMUT 024: Malachi Constant
The colors outside the window are slowly fading, and the gray shade begins to rise in its solemn dominion, reflecting on the surfaces of various objects. The monotony of these new shades creates a new palette where coldness and darkness gradually seize more and more space, like waves of the sea enveloping the surrounding world in their mysterious veil.
Today, Malachi Constant, this observer of natural phenomena and the magic of transition from bright and saturated, gently contemplates this shift into the world of the mysterious and profound. In his hand, a notebook is always securely held, as if it were the key to understanding this ever-changing symphony. All notes and reflections, like tiny gemstones, are stored within this mix. Be attentive and try not to miss a single one.
Malachi Constant is a Samet Label co-founder and a digger with unique style that emerges from tribal downtempo and broken techno. He always takes us on a melancholic journey filled with eastern melodies or moves you with deconstructive broken tunes mixed with acidic/neural/bassy sounds with wide bpm scale.

  • ANMUT 022: Andriy Kostyukov
People and their surroundings are composed of small particles with different densities and an infinite number of connections between them. They have a variety of properties, and one can observe them modifying from time to time. In the hands of laboratory professionals, substances combine with one another, reshaping and receiving a new formula. Andrey Kostyukov, one of the greatest masters of transformation and transfiguration, is our guest today.
Andriy Kostyukov is a Kyiv-born and Prague-based electronic musician and dj.
First of all, his attention is devoted to creating music. Andriy skillfully combines Experimental Bass and IDM. His exclusive works could be heard at Paris Fashion Week 2019 and at many leading events in Ukraine. Some of the key ones were the “Brudnyy Pes” and “Na Chasi” festivals in Kyiv, “ODS” in Odesa and “Voyage Culturel” in Kharkiv. Speaking of dj sets, Andriy has established a strong musical position between trippy techno and upbeat glitch Bass stuff. His selection was appreciated in the club ∄ (Kyiv), Re:mise (Berlin), Fitzroy (Berlin), Ankali (Prague), Vitamin (Brno), Kultura Zvuku (Kharkiv), Otel' (Kyiv).
He is a co-organizer of the Motsion — one of the first musical events that began charitable activities in Kyiv after the beginning of the full-scale russian invasion of Ukraine.

  • ANMUT 021: fleika
A woodcarver begins with a piece of wood and workpiece preparation. They smooth the surface and eliminate all defects. Next, they keep transforming it using knives and proceed to the final stage: post-processing. They grind it, soak it in certain substances, and then stain.
    So there we go:
    Workpiece preparation = Mix idea
    Smoothing = Track sorting
Knives = Faders, Filters, and Frequency
    Post-processing = Mixing process
Our woodcarver for today is fleika
A staple of Prague’s Techno scene, fleika has been cultivating his dj skills for almost a decade.
Between his membership in the Polygon collective, regular exposure at Cukr events and performances at Prague’s Stalin plaza, he has become one of the local scene’s most sought-after selectors.
fleika’s experiences behind the decks have been rapidly developing in Ankali’s DJ booth thanks to his involvement as a club resident and co-curator of Archiv Teknologi night series.
His commitment manifests in persistent digging through vast worlds of music, and in extensive, marathon sets.

Wow, just recently we entered 2022 and it turned out to be full of unexpected adventures, unforgettable emotions and an almost non-stop flow of drive, which was fed to each of us through a personal drip. What is this drip for? How big is the reservoir? We will return to these questions repeatedly, but for now ... Highway 2023, we are at the beginning, there is a yellow light at the traffic light, which means get ready
    Your driver: SJ Yellow

  • ANMUT 019: Kobayashi Maru
Falling asleep, we plunge into a different reality, limited by the breadth of our consciousness. From time to time, someone manages to know a new world, get to know it, feel it, while the other is in the time loop of a tiny imaginary space, in the hope of a ticket to the unknown. One thing, however, that the very unknown is among us, envelops and fascinates, but not specifically you, but your desire to meet with it. The daily routine is one of the stages of acquaintance, physical fatigue is an invitation, the bed is the chair of your personal teleport, closing your eyes - you press the start button from the starting point. You have arrived. We have chosen the best guide to brave new world for you: Kobayashi Maru
He is a young dj and producer from Prague, combining old school UK sound, breakbeat and unidentified musical objects from unknown African tribes, in which the secrets of the ancestors of strength, emotion and harmony are preserved. We can also hear echoes of the wild world in which Kobayashi lives, being one of the toads from Amphibian Records [@amphibian_rec].
Your journey has just begun. This stop: Planeta Pravda (Universe of Marie Pravda [@yomomsmokescrack])
    Enjoy your listen!

  • ANMUT 018: Syrphin
In 1885, the world's first car was invented, which was able to reach speeds of up to 18 km / h, and this seemed unrealistic for a man-made invention. From that moment, everything around began to change, most importantly, changes in the representation of speed began to noticeably occur. Constant improvements and developments in technology, after some 130 years, lead a person to a world where we receive any information almost instantly, driving a car at a speed of 300 km / h is the norm, and the flow of human thought exceeds the speed of sound and light, but at the same time is hyperproductive. We asked one of our guests what he thought of the 21st century, and it's no surprise that his answer was short, but nonetheless impressively clear - speed. Today he will tell you about it.
Syrphin is the founder/head of the music project and label AXXID [@axxidminsk].
Young DJ, live artist, vinyl collector and promoter. All in one person.
Originally from Belarus, currently based in Warsaw. Resident of the project GAP and Pravda 25 (queer party Somasutra from Minsk). Participant of many major events and festivals not only as an artist, but also as an organizer, curator.
On his sets, he gives an advantage to the fast tempo of the sound, with melodic inserts of early trance of the 90s, replacing it in the right places with fast techno with a massive drum and ending with a beautiful breakbeat. He also prefers the German-Scandinavian school of sound.
His label Axxid gave an opportunity to unite young Belarusian musicians focused on one idea. Guided by the desire to show the potential of the Belarusian scene, each of them shows their own special vision of the phrase “In speed we trust»!

  • ANMUT 017: mʊdʌki
Standing at a traffic light, raise your head. What do you see? Endless streams of cars, heterogeneous dynamics of the movements of human bodies, noises, beeps, speech. Stop. Before you take the next step into the green light, take a slow breath. Feel it as it passes through the mouth, nose, throat, enters the chest and scatters through every particle of the lung. The only thing is that when we inhale, we do not think about exhaling. We need to inhale and exhale, and now we inhale much faster and sharper than we exhale. This process symbolizes acceleration on the one hand, which is at the same moment our environment, and deceleration - our desire to stop for a while and exhale. Uniformity. We want to, but sometimes we can't afford it. We suggest you slow down now. Your companions for today are ANMUT and mʊdʌki.
Be focus | "Age of machines: replace the goal with speed.“ (c) Karel Čapek
mʊdʌki is chasing the aesthetics of the 90s raves which she will never experience, creating a model situation of an inaccessible club culture mirage. In her dj identity mʊdʌki flows in between bass music of such subgenres as jungle, dubstep, dub, juke, and avant garde experimental electronic music together with sound art, through a wide branch of techno – deep, minimal, breakbeat, industrial and hard acid techno tunes, all with a strong accent on the leftfield music scene. She is one of the founding members of phonon~ crew, mediating experimental electronic music and sound art in Czech Republic.
