In this episode, Angharad speaks with Anna Chancellor.

An actress. An industry icon. And now, a mother living through the unimaginable loss of her daughter.

Many of you will have first met Anna as 'Duckface' in Four Weddings and a Funeral, or from The Hour, Downton Abbey, The Crown, My Lady Jane, and Outrageous - to name but a few. But this conversation isn’t about Anna's career - it’s about her grief, her love, and what remains after her life was irrevocably changed.

Angharad first met Anna’s daughter, Poppy, in 2020 when she appeared on her podcast Daddy Issues. They bonded instantly. Angharad knew she had found a friendship for life. But just three short years later, Poppy died from acute myeloid leukaemia. She was 36.

In this episode, Anna and Angharad discuss the incomprehensible loss of a child, our relationship with death, the afterlife, and the mission that now guides Anna’s life. Above all, they talk about Poppy - and the profound legacy she continues to leave behind.
