What started in 2006 as a couple trying to help their community, has now grown into a local nonprofit that serves thousands of people all over Middle Tennessee! The goal of Break-Thru Nashville is to help people in a real and tangible way by educating, mentoring, and providing resources. In the past year, Break-Thru Nashville has given out millions of pounds of food via free food box distributions throughout Middle Tennessee.

That's where Nashville VOAD (Voluntary Organizations active in Disaster) step in to help! VOAD is a collaboration of nonprofit, faith-based and community organizations from across the city, who help Davidson County recover when disaster strikes.

"Prevent Child Abuse Tennessee" is still around, and going stronger than ever! There's just been a name change to better reflect  the nonprofit's mission of helping FAMILIES. 

Now called, "Nurture the Next", the organization supports the entire family, with a variety of specialized services, including building healthy family foundations, bonding, educating and advocating for services that protect and nurture healthy families. 

Nurture the Next has helped families through the pandemic and offers the Statewide Domestic Violence Helpline (1-800-356-6767) and the Statewide 24/7 Parenting Helpline (1-800-children).
