Anniversary Special: Soylent Green (1973)

Back to the Ground

This week on Projected Hues, Jessica and I mark one full year and 25 episodes of this podcast by revisiting where it all began: Soylent Green (1973). Our very first episode gets the anniversary treatment as we return to this sweaty, overpopulated, and weirdly foretelling vision of the future.

Life’s a bit busy for us right now, so we’re hitting pause for August. But don’t worry, we’ll be back in September with Roeg to Nowhere, a series celebrating the fractured brilliance of Nicolas Roeg.

First up: Eureka (1983), a glittering gold rush of chaos, greed, and existential despair.

And for those needing a fix, we’re hoping to cook up at least one After-dark episode this August to keep things weird.
