David was anointed long before he was appointed.

In this solo episode, I reflect on 1 Samuel and early 2 Samuel and what David’s restraint teaches us about respecting God’s timing. From serving Saul after being anointed, to refusing to take the throne by force, David consistently trusted God with promotion, justice, and direction.

I also share what this looks like in my own life right now — building something, facing roadblocks, and choosing not to force doors open.
