In this message, we learn that the Holy Spirit will not only be in us and with us, but will also come upon us (Acts 1:8). When we yield to the anointing of the Holy Spirit, we are empowered for a purpose: to witness and point others to Jesus. We receive this manifestation of the Spirit by humbling ourselves and making room for God’s sovereignty. “‘Not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit,’ says the Lord Almighty” (Zechariah 4:5-7).
