The Island has been a lot in the news recently with regards to the many migrants arriving there in recent months, leading the government of Greece to pass a controversial temporary ban on processing asylum requests from people arriving from Northern Africa by sea. But how do the people living on Crete experience this situation? Does this ban have effect? Can anything be done to assist?
