Shaun Morash and Paul Dottino are back talking about, with zero surprise, the 6-1 New York Football Giants!
In their 23-17 victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars the Giants were able to show a little more downfield aggression, specifically a 32-yard "dime" from Daniel Jones to Darius Slayton. A key drop at the goal line also brought some fire from the fourth year QB - which has Shaun seeing glimpses of a key trait among the NFL greats.
Jacksonville did its usual 2022 thing, play uneven football with a chance to win, while coming up short in the big spot. Trevor Lawrence had some good moments but the Giants defense for the third straight week showed up in key moments and ultimately shutdown the Jaguars comeback efforts.
It wouldn't be Giants football without Giant injuries - Paul runs down the list of walking wounded, who will be out for awhile and which players might be offering some support for a roster riddled with injuries.
