In Today's episode I interview my "Is This Good or Is This Garbage?" co-host Matt about the process of making comics. Matt is the author of Biorhythm, which has been a five-year journey of development to its production.

The boys are back again to tackle David Fincher's film debut the controversial and maligned "Alien 3." Is this movie good or garbage? Should Newt have died? Is this movie too bleak? And was the William Gibson script better? We attempt to answer all these questions and more.

Specifically, we take a look at John Wagner's "America" storyline and put it under the scalpel to examine how Wagner and Alan Moore tackle topics of facism and authoritarianism in their storytelling.

How do the two stories compare and how do they differ? And, whether or not, despite being reactions to the former UK Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher and her government, if the stories are still relevant today.

Jared is back for his second Slopcast, and he is mostly talking comic books today. Swamp Thing 1989, Absolute Green Arrow, Stray Dogs, and more. He also talks briefly about seeing Kid Cudi in concert again nearly 16 years later with his teenage son, and other summer concert plans.

In this episode, the boys are back after a hiatus to talk Sam Raimi's (Spiderman) now disowned sophomore film "Crimewave." Produced by Norman Lear (The Jeffersons), the godfather of the American sitcom, and written by The Coen Brothers (The Big Lebowski), this 80s crime comedy should have had all the makings of a hit film, but ultimately fell flat, and was disowned by all that were involved with it. Ultimately, we decided whether it is good or if it is garbage.
