About ANSWER Mixtapes
From the publisher's feed
ANSWER are widely recognised as India’s leading house music duo, operating at the intersection of deep, tech and hypnotic house with subtle nods to techno. Rooted firmly in groove and rhythm, their sound is fluid and forward-thinking - designed to create instant, visceral connections on the dancefloor while unfolding with long-form intent.
Defined by rolling basslines, bouncy low-end and hypnotic momentum, ANSWER’s sets prioritise movement, tension and emotional release over peak-time theatrics. Whether in intimate club rooms or on high-energy stages, their performances flow with precision and restraint, locking audiences in quickly and carrying them through carefully shaped, story-driven journeys.
Established tastemakers within India’s electronic music ecosystem, ANSWER have played a pivotal role in shaping the country’s modern house movement while steadily positioning themselves on a global trajectory. Touring extensively across India, they have shared stages with some of the most influential figures in contemporary electronic music, including Carl Cox, Jamie Jones, Dixon, Âme, Maceo Plex, Nina Kraviz, CamelPhat and more, consistently holding their own alongside international heavyweights and earning a reputation as true crowd favourites.
Their discography reflects a focused and uncompromising approach to club music, with releases on respected international imprints alongside carefully curated self-released material. Each release mirrors their core philosophy: groove-led, hypnotic house music built for longevity rather than trends.
In 2025, ANSWER marked a major milestone with an official Boiler Room performance in Hyderabad, further cementing their position as key representatives of India’s new wave of globally minded electronic artists. With a sound driven by rhythm, restraint and vision, ANSWER continue to define the next chapter of Indian house music - an act firmly established, rapidly rising, and increasingly recognised as a force to watch.
