Thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel: "Amend your ways and your deeds, and I will let you dwell in this place.  Do not trust in these deceptive words: ‘This is the temple of the Lord, the temple of the Lord, the temple of the Lord.’ For if you truly amend your ways and your deeds, if you truly execute justice one with another, if you do not oppress the sojourner, the fatherless, or the widow, or shed innocent blood in this place, and if you do not go after other gods to your own harm, then I will let you dwell in this place, in the land that I gave of old to your fathers forever. Behold, you trust in deceptive words to no avail."

"Thus says the Lord of hosts, 'Render true judgments, show kindness and mercy to one another, do not oppress the widow, the fatherless, the sojourner, or the poor, and let none of you devise evil against another in your heart.' But they refused to pay attention and turned a stubborn shoulder and stopped their ears that they might not hear."

Did you know you can spot certain fallacies by drawing pictures? Overlapping circles, called Venn Diagrams, illustrate statements about categories (like “All cats are mammals” or “Some cats are tigers), which form the basis of categorical arguments. Here’s how to spot flawed categorical arguments by drawing.

Could belief in evolution be linked to youth suicide?  Suicidal tendencies are often linked to people that believe there is no meaning and purpose in their lives, and that is the dominant worldview being taught in public education today.

Either-or fallacies present only two mutually exclusive options (correlatives), when more options may be possible. But there are other types of correlative-based fallacies too. Here are some examples of the most common ones—and an easy bonus hack for answering faulty “if-then” arguments.
