As Jonah runs away from what God told him to do, we see that God's mission continues, with and despite his messenger.

Do you have a 'going' mindset? As followers of Jesus, we are called to go and make disciples.

God has given us a sure identity and a rich calling as believers, as the church, and as individuals.

Loving with Father's heart makes our actions worthwhile. We can think and do many things, but, without being motivated by a love for God, we will tend to find our value in achievement or self-promotion. Knowing God's love for us will protect and sustain us, and enable us to love others.

As the people of God, we need to rediscover the breathtaking privilege of enjoying God's presence. When the world sees us loving His presence they know Jesus is from God.

Love is risky; there are no guarantees It puts us in a position that is vulnerable to another's free will but this is how Jesus loves us (while we were still sinners) and how we are to love others.

A reminder of God's call to His people to step out of our comfort zone and love deeply as we advance the kingdom. This sermon reminds us of the heart with which the Apostles crossed boundaries to share the love of Christ, and the incredible destiny in store for those who overcome.
