We live in a blessed nation. But despite being a blessed nation, we are also a depressed nation. America leads the world in anti-depressant drugs. In Portland alone, we are, per 100,000 people. at a 15.9% suicide rate. That's #9 in America. We have more than anyone in the world, yet you'd think we'd be a 3rd world country because of our depression. "More" obviously doesn't mean better, but in this case, we DO need more. We need more GENUINE JOY. Having joy doesn't mean we will never feel sad or depressed... but it's truth that no matter what happens in your life, you can have JOY.
