Howdy listeners and thank you all so much for having come on this wild adventure with us. It blows my mind that we started publishing episodes over a year ago and also to see how far we have come in terms of quality and gameplay. I wanted to take a moment to acknowledge the amazing work that Sam has put into breathing life and complexity into this world and more importantly its people. We really couldn’t have asked for a better GM.
While this episode marks the end of the story of Cat and Angelica it is also the beginning of something new. As we mentioned in Episode 0, Worlds Below was always meant to be a trial run for our next project so stay tuned for news on that! We are hoping to kick off sometime early in the new year, and with a new host!
Once more, thank you to all of those who supported us in this journey, it means the world to us. Now, without further ado we open, One Month Later.
Welcome to Worlds Below, an actual play podcast that made us cry. No jokes this time folks. Just cold hard facts.

Last Time,
The armies of the King, Yarl Sven, and the Deadheads converge at the Crossing just as Cat signals for Haven to land. Improbably, the ship manages to touch down atop the aircraft carrier city of Halfryx where it is immediately swarmed by the hungering horde. Reunited at last Cat and Angelica must find a way to save their home.

Last time, two peoples rose up to reclaim their cities. In Nyr Nyc, the Inquisition is driven out and its people set out on a pilgrimage toward the crashing spaceship. In Fell Himir, the siege turns to search as the Bandits discover family and friends long thought dead. The church has fallen and faith is tested as Haven’s descent begins to fill the sky.
Once more we ask ourselves: How does the world react to Haven’s return?

Hello listeners! With the finale nearly upon us, we wanted to try something a little different. Today we will take a step back from our dynamic duo and instead explore a question we found ourselves debating off mic: How does the world react to Haven’s return?
Welcome to Worlds Below, an actual play podcast that is UP TO THE MINUTE in popular memes.
Last time:
Hosts. Destroyers. Aliens.
Deep below the streets of Fell Hmir, Angelica finds Max standing before a hologram of woman that reveals a horrible truth: Her home and Humanity were never been her own.
North, on the rusted bridge of the Crossing, Cat discovers a similar truth when the King stabs her and she does not die. When Bjork cuts down Agnatha, a voice in her head begs her to rescue the creature that emerges, before she jumps off the bridge to escape.

A couple of notes at the top of this episode. Sadly, we lost our main audio for this session which means I had to rely on our backup which, you will notice, is not up to our usual standard and we apologize for that.
Second, we wanted to include a content warning for violence, blood, and death. While we would usually do our best to veil these themes, we felt that, in this case, the scene was necessary to be true to the fiction to. I’ve included the timestamps for those scenes in the notes if would prefer to skip over it.
And now, without further ado, Last time:
The Bandits have descended on Fell Hemir and begin their struggle to wrest control of the capital. This chaos provides the backdrop as a mob of disenfranchised citizens march on the church of terra pure with Angelica leading the way.
In the crossing, Cat is still stalling for time. She meets with the King and is present with an ultimatum: bring her Agnatha or she burns the forest to smoke them out.
Welcome to Worlds Below, an actual play podcast this is and will always be exactly 6 years old.
Last time:
Cat and Angelica journey apart. Cat, joined by the heretic prophet Agnatha, sails to the Crossing where she needs to buy time for the pieces of their plan to fall into place. Meanwhile, Angelica manages to secure the support of the Marsh folk and Bandits in the attack on Fell Hemir.
From the east, Yarl Sven tails Cat with his armada and from the west, the deadheads pour forth as if summoned by primal instinct.

Last Time:
Yarl Seven is true to his word and sends a message to Oleg, Yarl of the floating city of Halfrix, that Angelica and Cat are in need of two boats. But Oleg does nothing in half measures and within the week the aircraft carrier upon which the city is built is hauled into the harbour by bioengineered whales.
Getting the boats turns out to be easy enough but they discover they are being watched and must ensure they raise no suspicions about their true intent. With everything in place Angelica and Cat part ways with an emotional goodbye and a promise to meet again.

Last Time:
In the fallout of the Deckstravaganza, we found Angelica with a broken spirit and Cat with a wounded heart. In the week leading up to the election, both seemed to have given up hope of changing Haven for the better. But those around them had not. Liza begs Angelica to keep fighting despite the evidence of the murder, and Johanna insists that Cat must gather the Underdecks for the occasion. And then everything changed. In a surprise upset, Angelica is elected Admiral over Negata while, below, Johanna uses the moment to claim that same title for herself.
