Anthony T is back from a crazy month of going to two horror conventions back to back as he's back to chat about all things horror as it's October and its horror month on the podcast. In this edition, he talks about the serious nature of the dark side of fandom in a stark commentary on the news story that actress Melissa Barrera was forced to cancel all of her future convention appearances due to the toxic fandom on social media. After that, Anthony T spends time chatting about quite possibly the best horror/pop culture convention experience that he has ever had when he went to Silver Scream Con 3 as he talks about the convention and the concert he went to.
Anthony T's back with a Silver Scream Con preview episode. Before that, he talks about the remake of "Salem's Lot" finally getting released even though it isn't hitting theaters like originally intended. Since it's about Silver Scream Con 3 this episode, he dives into how the world of horror and rock music can co-exist by highlighting some of the bands that have successfully done that. He previews the con itself that takes place this weekend September 13th -15th at the DCU Center and Worcester Palladium. And in What's Anthony T Watching, he reviews a new film that can be found to rent on one streaming platform starring one of the Silver Scream Con 3 guests.
Anthony T is back and he has a lot to talk about. In this edition, is a new "Spawn" on its way to becoming a reality as Blumhouse Productions already has a screenplay? He then talks about AEW Programming mysteriously appearing on MAX internationally. After that, he discusses convention do's and don'ts as con season has arrived so it is time for a refresher on that subject. In What's Anthony T Watching, he reviews a film starring two of the stars of "Terrifier."
Anthony T is back with another edition as he has a lot of things to talk about including latest Terrifier news, Blumhouse news, and AEW news including a shocking bloody heel turn. Then Anthony T dives into some Silver Scream Con Talk as he wonders if it is wrong to be very excited for a screen used car showing up at that convention. All this plus What's Anthony T Watching where he gives a director a second chance after one of his films he reviewed on the podcast earlier this year was awful.
Anthony T is back as its all about wrestling on this episode as he talks about WWE doing two nights of SummerSlam next year. He will also give his thoughts about AEW's latest PPV Double or Nothing 2024. Then in What's Anthony T's Watching, he reviews an Australian film that takes place in New York City.
Anthony T is back as this is a review heavy episode plus he goes into the world of horror magazines. In this edition, he gives his thoughts on the passing of one the greatest independent horror producers Roger Corman as he chats about some of his favorite Corman produced films. Then he has two reviews this episode sandwiched in between his interview as he first reviews the indie shocker "The Black Mass", then he brings on to the podcast Scars Magazine founder Raymond Dowaliby to chat about the magazine, its relaunch and why he chose the film "The Black Mass" to be the feature film in their return issue. Finally in What's Anthony T Watching, the podcast critic in him won as he's hitting the late night circuit to review "Late Night with the Devil" which is on Shudder.
Anthony T's got to stop with these "one episode per month" issue. It it wasn't his fault this month as he was caught up in Wrestlemania and Blumhousemania fever. In this edition, he talks about Jason Blum and Lionsgate's desire to remake "The Blair Witch Project" which he doesn't like at all. Then Anthony T gives his thoughts on the two night wrestling extravaganza known as Wrestlemania XL, or how Dwayne needed to be part of the main event on night one. Then in "What's Anthony T's Watching", he reviews Blumhouse Productions latest film about a killer pool. Sounds like the plot of a B-Movie, yet it did hit theaters in 2024.
Anthony T is back after a little longer break than expected. He probably wishes he was on that he was still on break as there's a lot of why's and what's in this episode as there are a lot of topics like the first trailer for "The Crow '' reboot, "Late Night with the Devil '' controversy. But the main topics that gets him going are the fact that Dwayne aka "The Rock" needs to have the spotlight and put WWE's three major stars for night two of Wrestlemania in jeopardy of injury so he can main event another Wrestlemania and how some indie horror filmmakers are giving indie horror a bad name by using characters from the public domain to make a quick buck and diminish true independent horror. All of this plus he reviews a recent horror film that has an identity crisis.
Anthony T is back with part 2 of his look back at 2023 with the 6th annual horror show awards. And yes, this might have been the most difficult episode to produce. But before he can do that, he talks about the WWE's deal with Netflix for Monday Night Raw. Then after the horror show awards in What's Anthony T"s Watching, he reviews the latest H.P Lovecraft adaptation that would have ended up on his top 10 list if he saw it in 2023.
