Your neck has five layers, not one. Almost everything sold to fix a loose neck only reaches the first layer. If your problem is deeper, you can spend years and a lot of money and never touch what is actually causing it.
In this video, I'm going to break down all five layers of the neck, show you how to check at home which one is causing your problem, and explain exactly what each layer actually responds to.

โ QUESTIONS ANSWERED
What are the five layers of the neck?
The neck is made up of skin, fat under the skin, the platysma muscle, the submandibular glands, and a deeper fat layer under the muscle. Heaviness or looseness can come from any one of these, which is why treating the wrong layer rarely works.
Can exercises or devices fix a loose neck?
Devices and creams only reach the skin and the fat just underneath it, while exercises work the platysma muscle. None of them can reach the glands or fat sitting deeper under the muscle, which is why those cases often need surgery.
Do I need a facelift to fix my neck?
No, some people only have a neck problem with a face that looks fine, and a targeted deep neck lift can address that without touching the rest of the face. Genuine neck issues require working through the muscle layer, not just the surface.

You lost the weight and now your face looks ten years older. That is not your imagination. Two very different things happen to a face during fast weight loss, and they need opposite fixes. Get the wrong one and you can spend a lot of money without solving anything.
In this video, I'm going to explain the real difference between facial volume loss and facial tissue descent after GLP-1 weight loss, and show you a simple test you can do at home before booking any treatment.

โ QUESTIONS ANSWERED
What causes Ozempic face?
Ozempic face happens because rapid weight loss empties the fat pads in your cheeks, temples, and jawline faster than your skin and supporting tissue can adjust. Some of what you see is genuine volume loss, and some is aging that was already there but hidden under fullness.
Can filler fix Ozempic face?
Filler only works if your problem is volume loss with tissue still in its normal position. If tissue has actually dropped, filler cannot move it back up, and adding more volume to a sagging cheek only makes the sagging look bigger.
How do I know if I need filler or surgery after weight loss?
Compare an old photo to your current face in the mirror and check if the same tissue landmarks sit in the same places or have moved lower. If the shapes are just flatter, that is volume you can add to. If the tissue itself has slid down, that is a position problem that only surgery can correct.

This podcast is for women in their 40s and 50s who want to look like themselves again, not like they've had work done. I break down what really happens to a face as it ages, what a deep plane facelift and a deep neck lift actually do, and when treatments like filler, lasers and radiofrequency are worth your money and when they aren't.
Most surgeons treat facial aging as a skin and volume problem. I think the real problem is deeper. Ligaments loosen, tissue drops, and you can't fill your way out of that. So I treat the patient in front of me, not whatever's trending.
