This is Part 1 of a series of episodes looking at the different aspects of Anti-Bribery and Corruption Training. This time they start by asking – What clearly is NOT working? They then go in to consider should we be thinking about thwarting corruption, or promoting fairness?
This episode’s world event:
The world event this time is the arrest of tennis player, Yana Sizikova. In June 2021 Sizikova was arrested at the French Open and placed in police custody on charges of "sports corruption and organized gang scam targeting acts likely to have been committed in September 2020," the Paris prosecutor's office told ABC News.
They focus on this event and not the standard organisation corruption we routinely in order to examine corruption through the lens of fairness in the eyes of the learners who attend bribery and corruption training.
