Anti Racist Allyship on College Campuses feat. Noelle Morgan and Kristophe Zephyrin

Listen Later

On February 15th, DWA held a live virtual event for the students of Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI). WPI is a local university and is also a predominantly white university- meaning students of color of the minority on campus. Asia and Jareed participated in an engaging conversation with WPI students Noelle Morgan and Kristophe Zephyrin, who share their experiences being black students on a white campus and give insight into what anti racist allyship looks like on their campus.

We also discuss:

  • College experience for Gen Z compared to Millennials
  • Pandemic college life and experiences
  • Difference between white and black sororities and fraternities
  • Current allyship culture at WPI
  • BLM
  • Danroy Henry
