When was the last time you thought about what you do for fun? The thing you do outside of work, parenting, and paying bills that fills your cup. The thing you do JUST FOR YOU. For a lot of us, we don’t even notice how deeply caught up we are in the cycle of adulting until we ask ourselves these types of questions. What makes you feel GOOD?! In episode 3 of the season (and our 100th episode of all time!!!), Asia and Jareed are discussing how they reconnected with old hobbies, and found some new ones in this new phase of adulting! In Asia’s debut solo episode, she’s getting real and vulnerable about everything that went on for her in the past year since having a child. You will hear about her experience with postpartum anxiety and grief, why the podcast was gone for so long, and how she found herself again thanks to community. If you are pregnant, planning a family or even just know someone who is pregnant, this episode might help you to better understand what the postpartum journey is like. No journey is the same, but they are all important and life changing.

Asia and Jareed interview Dr. Brashani Reece about the why the United States prison system is doing more harm than good. Dr. Brashani Reece is a public speaker for ending life sentences and co-founder of the DropLWOP New England Project.
