Anti-vaxxers Protest Basic Health Practices for Freedumb

Listen Later

Let free dumb ring! God bless hysteria! I love this nation, don't you? Life, liberty and the pursuit ass backwardness. I personally could not be prouder to be an American. You may think that is a joke, and so do I, but that does not stop it from being true. We often take our freedom to throw a hissy fit for granted. Stuff like that is not really allowed under strict authoritarian regimes. When you are in America, you are permitted for ride pretty high on the train to crazy town; hell, they might even buy you a free ticket. When I think of all the ways a person could go mad in this country, I am not at all surprised by this panic about vaccines. The anti-vaxx lobby is extremely powerful and transcends political parties. A common reason for this is that people have had some sort of difficulty with their medical background, so much so that they no loner trust health professionals. Many stated that ignoring this problem would somehow make it go away, that leaving the anti-vaxxers to realize the error of their ways in their own time would eventually drive them to receive the vaccine. That plan has failed miserably, so much so that I have recently seen cash incentives for getting the vaccine. Really? Where the hell is my damn money for getting the vaccine? All I got was a "hero" sticker from the dollar tree! That is America for you, always rewarding the late birds. Anyway, I do not really care about the money; I am only highlighting the point that the vaccine rollout is taking far too long to be as effective as many had previously hoped for. Meanwhile, people are busy traveling during yet another holiday. Who knows who will contract the new Vietnamese variant? Who knows how deadly it is? Does anyone even consider such things or is this officially on the ever-growing list of "downer" topics, right next to exercise and politics? At times it feels as if this society has become so careless that destroying itself is its only past time, one which we are always growing more efficient at. The anti-vaxxers that remain are only going to become louder as their numbers slowly dwindle. Before there was some chance that you could come across a normal anti-vaxxer, one who would not a pull a knife on you for asking them to put on a mask inside a Walmart. Those days are long gone. Now all you will find are a gang of crazy ass Karens and Kens ready to take on the world with their list of constitutional quotes. These people are a threat to society; they clearly do not care about rebuilding our fractured community. I am sick of these people. I no longer hold any sympathy for them. How much more time do these people need to be convinced? Are they just going to wait around a few more years to see how things turn out? What a joke this silly affair is. You really have to appreciate the humor behind the horror, all of this hooting and hollering and posturing...And for what? What are people gaining by being so damn stubborn? If you want to be selfish, then get the vaccine! That is the perfect way to care about your body or whatever the hell you want to say. And what is this "my body my choice" crap from the people plotting to end Roe V. Wade? They are throwing salt in a gaping wound by making such a statement and they know that. We do not have to take this. It is not normal to sit on your hands while people squash your rights and plot to make you sick at the same time. These idiots do not deserve the time of day, let alone a cash payment. The craziest part about these wonderful morons is that they actually want you to forgo your safety, health and life for, wait for it...an unmasked smile. Of course that is what they want. What conservative do you know that does not want you to grin and bear it. Well, here you go GOP! Do you see me smiling? I have a big smile on my face knowing that this is what you have become, a party of simpletons. That is enough to make anyone in this country smile. God bless hysteria! God bless the USA...whoever is left anyway.
