This is a gospel prayer. Paul prays for us to grow confident in three things so that we might bear good fruit. This is a great prayer for you to pray for yourself as well as for other believers!

Perseverance and persistence in prayer should be a vital part of the believers’ life and relationship with God!

[I Thessalonians 3:9-13] We live in a mobile society. Like us, Paul moved around a lot and got to know believers all over the place. How did Paul pray for them?

I Thessalonians 3:9-13 reveals four themes in Paul’s prayer:

To thank God (3:9)

For an Opportunity to connect (3:10-11)

For their love to overflow. (3:12).

For strength to be blameless and holy. (3:13)

Think about someone who discipled you or whom you discipled. Pray this prayer for them today! Then send them a note to let them know you prayed for them.

[John 17:6-26] Jesus prayed so that his disciples could hear. He wanted them to know that he was asking the Father to help them:
