February 08, 2024 A Living Sacrifice: Addressing the Fallacy of Modern Christian Freedom
The Bible tells us that when we were "slaves to sin we were free from righteousness," but when we were delivered from sin, "we became slaves to righteousness."

Many today are departing from truth claiming "Christian freedom" and claiming that such freedom is a departure from legalism and man-made rules. Unfortunately, Christian freedom is not understood properly as the freedom they claim is merely freedom from righteousness as they walk into a life of disobedience to the Word of God (which equals sin). Our Christian liberty (Freedom) is freedom from SIN, not a Freedom to live as we please and ignore the Word of God.

"Well, I don't feel that is necessary," is often a buzzphrase of "freedom" but God didn't ask our opinions, He gave us His own. When God delivers us from sin, we become SLAVES TO RIGHTEOUSNESS and we are called to present our bodies as LIVING SACRIFICES.
