The foundation for everything in the Christian life is our relationship with Jesus. He desires a real relationship with every person. But just like couples who once had a vibrant relationship can grow apart over time, we can lose our love for Jesus even as we do things ‘for’ Him. But Jesus doesn’t want people to do things for Him, He wants people who know His love and love Him in return.
