Joyce Ferng believes we need “a change in the whole concept of how we design things and how we construct things”. 

Change is inevitable, but Joyce Ferng spoke to Mel & Dom about how the engineering industry is falling behind, it needs to be more progressive.  She points out that engineers need to be more future-focused in not just solving problems of today, but also avoid creating the problems of the future.
