Boaz visits Ruth in the fields of Beth-lehem during the barley harvest. He came to the field to see this beautiful damsel that everyone had been talking about. By this time her godly reputation and her plight were well known.

David pledged an oath of silence, but he could contain himself no longer. He was so upset- He was upset with himself -- maybe with God too. He didn't want to let his enemies hear his complaints. This was a dark time in the psalmist's life.

The shepherd of the church is charged with the responsibilty to warn his flock about false teachers. The church should take note of disorderly members in their fellowship and avoid them. With the advent of the -world wide web,- the issues are multiplied. Anyone can have a worldwide ministy and influence. We should all warn the lost of coming judgement.

The providence of God is clearly seen in Ruth's life. This is the foundation for the Messianic family.
