This episode of Antisemitism Watch covers a range of critical developments. We begin with Germany summoning Iran's ambassador following the conviction of men who plotted attacks against Jewish leaders, highlighting state-sponsored antisemitism. In the Netherlands, Ambassador Zvi Vapni describes bilateral ties at their lowest due to rising antisemitism, including attacks on Jewish sites and Holocaust inversion rhetoric. In Boulder, Colorado, mayoral candidate Taishya Adams' refusal to condemn a deadly antisemitic terror attack unless linked to 'anti-Zionism' draws scrutiny, alongside her refusal to affirm Israel's existence. We also report on an Israeli woman accosted by a mob in Turkey, disruptions at a London university lecture, and controversial personnel decisions at Emory Hillel. Plus, online hate campaigns targeting political figures and nations, normalization of antisemitic tropes on social media, and findings from a new study correlating anti-Zionist attitudes with traditional antisemitism.

Riots in France led to the vandalism of a Paris synagogue and the burning of Jewish-owned shops, fueling concerns of antisemitic targeting, even as online platforms spread conspiracy theories blaming Jews for the unrest. On U.S. campuses, a UC Davis student group's commemoration of the Hamas attack as a 'struggle' and a report ranking Harvard high in antisemitism draw attention. Political commentators Morton Klein and Alan Dershowitz warn of growing antisemitism and anti-Zionism within the Democratic Party. Plus, global trends show record online hate, while community initiatives aim to foster Jewish unity amidst these challenges. This episode covers France riots, antisemitism, UC Davis, Harvard, political rhetoric, Zohran Mamdani, Ilhan Omar, Alan Dershowitz, Morton Klein, and online extremism.

This week on Antisemitism Watch, we lead with an FBI arrest in Los Angeles: Steven Duenas is accused of plotting a mass-casualty attack on a Jewish preschool, threatening Jewish residents with Molotov cocktails and antisemitic rhetoric. In Canada, a youth has been convicted of terrorism charges for a similar 2023 plot targeting Ottawa's Jewish community. We examine Alan Dershowitz's warning that antisemitism and anti-Zionism are becoming mainstream in the Democratic Party, alongside Prime Minister Netanyahu's accusation that Russia is using AI bots to spread antisemitism. Canada's government report includes anti-Zionism as a manifestation of antisemitism. The New York State Democratic Party has passed a resolution condemning antisemitism, and we cover campus concerns at Rutgers and the University of Pittsburgh. We also look at reports of vandalism at a Paris synagogue amidst national unrest, and the broader security threats facing Jewish communities abroad. Keywords: Antisemitism, FBI, Jewish preschool, terror plot, Ottawa, Alan Dershowitz, Democratic Party, antisemitism, Russia, AI bots, Canada, anti-Zionism, IHRA, New York, Paris synagogue, hate crime, campus antisemitism, international incidents, institutional response.

This episode of Antisemitism Watch covers critical developments worldwide. We begin with a terrorism conviction in Ontario where a youth was found guilty of plotting an attack against the Jewish community. In Los Angeles, a man faces charges for threatening a Jewish preschool with bomb materials. Paris experienced vandalism at a synagogue during nationwide riots. On campuses, the University of Pittsburgh faces criticism for an antisemitic report that excluded Jewish students, while a human rights lecture was disrupted by protesters using antisemitic rhetoric. In politics, Nevada candidate Marty O’Donnell's online forum is under scrutiny for hate speech, and musician Macklemore is criticized for his tour benefiting a group that defended Hamas attacks. A new study reveals the prevalence of bots on X spreading conspiracy theories, and a watchdog report from CAM shows a significant spike in global antisemitism, particularly from far-left ideologies. We also explore Jewish families considering leaving Britain due to rising antisemitism, and Prime Minister Netanyahu's remarks on Russia's use of antisemitic bot networks. Key entities and topics include Ontario Court, Steven Carlos Duenas, Paris, University of Pittsburgh, City University of London, Marty O'Donnell, Macklemore, X bots, CAM, Simon Wiesenthal Centre, and the UK Jewish community.
