  • How to Relationship When You're Dating a Jealous Person - Dating Advice and Relationship Advice

How to Relationship when you are dating a person with jealousy issues.
Experiencing a little bit of jealousy within A romantic relationship is not always a bad thing. After all, when a rival expresses interest in our partner, experiencing some jealousy can be a healthy sign of love and a reminder of the value of the relationship. But dealing with a partner who is pathologically jealous can be a nightmare… its a whole different story. In this video, I’m going to explain the difference between normal jealousy and pathological jealousy and share how to relationship with a jealous partner.

First… let’s make an important distinction…. JEALOUS FEELINGS ARE NOT EQUAL TO JEALOUS BEHAVIORS, the first is cause by some insecurity, fear, or anxiety over the possibility of losing someone… but jealous behaviors… those are caused by a need to control and posses your partner. There’s a big difference here.

Think about it... jealousy is the rawest of emotions.... and it's not always a bad thing. If you see a person making moves on your partner, expressing interest, or trying to date your partner, experiencing some jealousy and talking to your partner about it is a healthy and appropriate response. But in the absence of any real threat, a partner expressing jealousy, anger, and disgust may be motivated by possessiveness and a need to control. too often, we don’t realize how jealous and possessive a person is until we are in way too deep. That’s because recognizing jealous behaviors early in a relationship can be difficult to do. So, here are five of the earliest warning signs you’re your partner’s jealousy is pathological and might only get worse.

Observing any of these signs once doesn’t mean you cut your ties and run away… and Like most other difficult emotional experiences, jealousy, if treated correctly, can be a trigger for growth. And that begins with an honest conversation with your partner discussing how jealous behavior is hurting your relationship. If your partner is able to admit his jealous behavior and accept responsibility, you’re probably dealing with an insecurity issue. In that case, working together on the issue can become the first step in increased self-awareness and greater understanding both of your mate and of the relationship.

But if you’re seeing multiple warning signs or a progressive pattern develop, you should be concerned. Pathologically jealous individuals construct decisive evidence of disloyalty from irrelevant incidents, they refuse to change their views even when confronted with contradicting information, and are inclined to accuse their partner of unfaithfulness with many other individuals. Under this form of jealousy, one of the partners considers that he or she has an exclusive ownership over another individual; and that this ownership is a necessity for preserving the relationship.

Everyone experiences jealousy to a certain degree in a relationship. Fearing losing your partner or feeling threatened around other attractive people can be a sign that you care about your relationship. On the other hand, it can become a dangerous problem when jealousy becomes excessive, unwarranted and intrusive to the other person. Pathological jealousy can be quite destructive in a relationship, and, in extreme cases even dangerous in terms of assault behavior, suicide or homicide.

So,Be wise, trust your instincts, and protect yourself. If something doesn’t sound or feel right, do what’s best for you and keep yourself safe. That brings me to my next point… If you’ve had experiences with a jealous partner and you’d like to share your example, please feel free to leave a comment. Sharing your story might be incredibly helpful to someone who’s dealing with a similar situation.

  • When He Doesn't Want a Relationship - Do This - Peter Pan Syndrome

I really like you, but I’m not ready for a relationship right now. We have so much fun together, but I don’t want anything serious. Let’s just hang out and have fun. Sound Familiar?

Those words are difficult and painful to hear from someone you really like. Especially if you want to be in a relationship. It leaves you disappointed and unsure of how to respond. Should you continue to see him or walk away? Is he just not that into you, is he confused, or Does he have Peter Pan syndrome?

    Click Here to Subscribe https://www.youtube.com/subscription_center?add_user=AntonioBorrello

I’ve got to say.. this is a difficult spot to be in… it really does suck when you were hopeful about a potential relationship… looking forward to exploring possibilities with someone…. And then they tell you they aren’t sure if they want to be in a relationship right now. Nevertheless, they still want to hang out with you… just nothing serious, right?

Of course, you’re going to be wondering.. is it me? Does he just not want a relationship with me, or does he not want a relationship with anyone? Is he confused about you, does he want the best of both worlds, or does he have peter pan syndrome? Having a better idea of what’s really going on will help you make your decision regarding what you want…

Guyys who are affected by Peter Pan Syndrome tend to be afraid of committing to a relationship, taking that relationship seriously, getting engaged, chasing after a career, leaving their comfort zone, or taking on any real responsibility. Instead, they rely on acting young, crazy, careless and/or afraid for as long as they possibly can.

So, if you recognize that he’s peter pan… what can you do?

Well, first, don’t try to fix them. afterall, you didn’t break them in the first place.
you cannot save a man from PPS, he must learn on his own and find his inner motivation. And Some men will not grow out of this for a long, long time.. so do yourself a favor and exit the relationhip gracefully.

But what about if it isn’t peter pan syndrome? What if he’s super successful and responsible in all other areas of his life.. great job.. accomplished academically… responsible.. and shows mature responsible behaviors in all other areas of his life? Or perhaps he has a solid history of long term relationships… then what? He tells you that he’s unsure and not ready for a relationship..

And lastly, Know that rejection does not mean you are not good enough. If For whatever reason, you were not right for someone else. That decision is up to them. It is easy to get hung up on the “whys” behind their decision, but dwelling on them doesn’t change the reality. If you aren’t right for someone else, That MEANS they aren’t right for you. Move on and let them go. And Do not use the experience as proof that you aren’t good enough. Meeting a person that’s not right for you.. a person that is not a good match is not a reflection on you… Period.

If you've ever felt a sense of impending doom when sending a text, waited around by the phone for it to just not ring, or felt insecure because of a partner's actions, there's a big chance that you're the victim of someone’s mind games. Mind games are defined as calculated behaviors used to manipulate, intimidate, or undermine someones behaviors or belief in the validity of their own perceptions.

So, How do you know if your partner is playing mind games with you?
The truth is, it can be difficult to recognize mind games when youre really into someone and you like them.. ya know… when they do something questionable.. or when they blow you off or are non responsive, you’ll come up with a number of different excuses for their poor behavior… . So it’s tricky to recognize mind games when you’re emotionally involved, because It’s difficult to be objective and see what’s really happening.

But The bottom line is that if you think you’re seeing examples of mind games in your relationship, you probably are. So it always helps to get validation and examples to understand how and why people play mind games.

If you start a relationship with something toxic, the relationship will be toxic. It sets a poor precedent for being together and can only lead to worse situations.

If playing a game works and you enter into a relationship, both you and your partner will think acting this way works.

The farther into a toxic relationship like this, the more miserable both of you will be.
You’ll play games to get your way, push your partner to “prove their love,” and other unhealthy practices. Not only will you have to break away from this relationship, but it will make getting into a new, healthy, relationship more difficult.

As I’ve said before, games playing and Manipulative behavior is a HUGE red flag. New relationships should be exciting, passionate, and easy. Not anxiety provoking and frustrating.

If it starts out difficult, what makes you think it’s going to be easier or better later. The beginning should be the best, right? Ya know... the honeymoon phase.

Don’t settle for anything less. \ Remember, if you’re busy waiting, wondering, and worrying about this relationship, you just might miss the opportunity to meet the right one. Successful relationships require both partners to say what they feel, and mean what they say. If someone is inconsistent with you or playing mind games to manipulate you, congratulate them on winning their game and manipulating you right out of their life.

If you are familiar with mind games or manipulation that I haven’t mentioned, please share them with us in the comments below. Oh... and I’ll link to the other video on mind games here. Be sure to check that one out too.

  • Find the Love of Your Life in 2018 - Relationship Goals - Dating Advice

If you’re single or in a dead end relationship.. finding real love is probably one of your top three new year resolutions. Sound familiar? If that’s you, stay tuned because I’m about to share 5 essential tips that will put you on the path for finding the love and relationship you deserve in 2018.

1 Know yourself, love yourself, and respect yourself first. Only then can you be ready for a partner to do the same.
I really want to stress the importance of knowing yourself—your values, desires, likes, and dislikes because they all impact relationships and are actually pre-requisites for knowing what you value and appreciate in a partner.

    2. Practice Mindfulness…

We bring so many expectations with us on a date: “he should be this”, “he must look a certain way”, “I have to feel that instant connection”. These expectations along with our negative past dating experiences can lead to missing out on a wonderful relationship or falling for one that is not worth your time. Learning to date mindfully allows you to be your true self and make a genuine connection. In other words, the more you learn to be present and in tune with your needs, the less focused you will be on trying to be what “he” wants you to be or what you want him to be. So bottom line, if you are in your mind, you are not fully present. And if you are not fully present you definitely are not the best representation of yourself!

    3. Allow yourself to be vulnerable.

So first and foremost, dating involves being in a vulnerable space… in the here and now. And it involves the risk of being rejected… and yes.. that’s a scary place. But it’s this FEAR of vulnerability and rejection that makes dating and getting into relationships difficult…

why? because many people fear being hurt more than they want love… but it’s always been that way… make no mistake about it… You’re absolutely not going to find love or a real emotional connection without being vulnerable and getting to a place of emotional intimacy with a partner.

    4. Leave your past in the past.

We bring so many expectations, and hopes and fears with us on our dates. “He better not do this, or he better do that.” “I hope he’s cute, or tall or funny.” Let go of all of that and just OBSERVE what he does and doesn’t do. And again, do it with curiosity, not judgement.

5 Listen to your inner voice and Communicate Your thoughts without blame

If you’re sitting across the table from someone and your subconscious is telling you that your not compatible with this person, then listen to that inner voice. This is especially hard when you’re attracted to someone you sense isn’t looking for the same things as you. But those are the moments when it’s most important to be vulnerable and admit what you really want. Better to figure out that you aren’t a match now (regardless of how attracted you are to them) then after a few dates (and more of yourself invested).

So, have you made a resolution to find love this year? If so, what are some of the things you are going to do differently to make that happen. And how do you feel about engaging in an active dating search or online dating. share your thoughts in the comments below and let’s start a discussion. Remember.. you’re not alone.. if you’re single and dating, i’m sure you can also relate to these experiences. So, I look forward to chatting with you.
