So, well... I keep doing attempts of original music after the second original album, and so just though of uploading some WIPs as samples here.
Not that happy with this one, but I guess it just works. Originally done in 2 hours for a qiuick compo on ThaSauce. The theme for the week was the Rosetta Stone, so the plan was to write something inspired by the Ancient Egypt. A vibe and style that is pretty far from my comfort zone, but still tried something on this vein combined with my usual synth/midi metal. I hope you like :)
By the way, my Soundcloud account is getting full regarding total time of uploaded tracks, and since stats are a joke for any recent upload, I'm considering to think of this site in a more impulsive way, just occasionally sharing whatever new stuff I do and deleting and uploading new tracks without thinking much at all.
You can always get the full albums and all the stuff in other sites anyways.
P.S.: The image used as cover artwork for this track consists of two photos: one taken somewhere in a arid landscape during my walks, and the other cropping the siluet of a (probably not wild) black cat I found in another area. The rock at the right may arguably be seen as a pareidloia with an odd, mysterous figure of a human head of some kind.
Also the title "Anubirb" is just temporary until I can think of a better title. But right now it's just a simple pun with the name of the god of the dead, Anubis, and the word "birb".
