Hey, it was a long time since my latest upload! The plan was to upload each one of the tracks from my new album/demo each few days or week, and there was still 1 left.
This one is an unusually special one for me, because varied reasons:
1. Musically it is VERY different than my usual stuff. A lot more calm and soothe, like you can truly 'feel it' - or so I hope! Probably the most accessible track in the album.
2. It is dedicated to autumn and it was written when it was not even summer yet, but I was already suffering the consequences of extreme heat. So in a way this was like screaming; summer sucks! Can't wait for autumn to come so I can finally be alive again!
3. Due to an accident 3 weeks ago I have my right arm immobilized and will need time to recover and be fully functional again. At least the insufferable pain from first days/week is gone and once I recover it'll probably be autumn, finally. This makes this song even more special to me now under such conditions.
Autumn is my favorite season, and it used to be even better, when average temperatures weren't that high. But still in the 2020s autumn has its source of fun and comfortability. It's the time of the year when world and nature somewhat regenerates itself after all what died as victim of the infernal heat from summer.
Under such conditions, we can finally feel alive and be able to live fully again. No drenched in sweat anymore, not bedridden (or chair-ridden) because there's not much else we can do under such hell-ish weather. Isn't wonderful?
This tune is unusually calm for what I usually do, but the occasion truly deserves it. Probably one of my most genuine and emotional compositions so far, and definitively one I'm quite proud of.
This is the end of the journey, tho. I hope you enjoyed the trip!
Or, well... maybe it is actually the beginning of a new one?
P.S.: The progressive intensification of drums near the end is a reference to that "meme?" about the "overqualified drummer" from Nyango Star's unusual and funny combination of extreme metal drumming over a rather soft or even cheesy music.
