The  Anuanna, or the Anunnaki as they are also known, are Sumerian deities that are believed to be the offspring of the sky god An and the earth goddess Ki. The main gods are comprised of "the seven who decree" that included: Enlil, Enki, An, Ninhursag, Nanna, Utu, Inannna. There has been much speculation revolving around the Anunnaki and their origins, purpose, and legacy upon the earth. We will explore each of these today, the many thoughts that surround them, and what we believe could be the truth behind the mythology of one of the most convoluted and continuously debated topics.
