Saints in the South CLASSIC!
        This week we talk about the initial disappointment that was felt by many members of the church when they showed up in Independence, Missouri, expecting to see a thriving community of Saints.  They later discovered it was not yet time for them to build the city of Zion.  In a revelation to Joseph Smith, The Lord told the saints "Ye cannot behold with your natural eyes, for the present time, the design of your God... and the glory which shall follow after much tribulation."  
        Many times it is so much harder to keep our eyes on the promised blessings rather than focus on the current tribulation we are experiencing.  That's one reason it is important to stay "Anxiously engaged in a good cause"  It will help us forget about our current struggles and challenges.  Then before we know it, the blessings have come!
        What good causes are you "anxiously engaged in"?  

        We discuss the faith of Polly Knight.  We also discuss the sabbath day and what the early saints might have done to keep the sabbath day holy.  
Is it easier to keep the Sabbath holy today, or in the early days of the church?
