We welcome our first guest to the show, writer/director Chad Crawford Kinkle! I (Nathaniel) had the pleasure of connecting with Chad through geeking out on skateboarding and our love for horror a few yers back! As soon we knew we'd be doing this podcast we had to have him on! OH YES! We just skipped right over Night and Dawn and into the "boring, drawn out, crawling" 1985 classic Day of the Dead. The ONLY thing that is crawling and drawn out in this film, in our opinion, is the zombies! We are huge fans of it and we will be doing our best to sway you if your not! Here we go with Rob Savage's HOST! We don't give away too much in this one, just getting you primed for your own personal viewing.

We decided to leave the 80s for just a moment......to find an a film to drop us right back in there. THE HOUSE OF THE DEVIL puts you right into the midst of the Satanic Panic and isolates you and Samantha from the world in the creepiest old house. The only thing we have to do is eat bad pizza, get pulled through the house by an amazingly scary subtle soundtrack, and at times dance around to the Fixx....HERE WE GO!

In episode 9 we talk through the summer of 85's surprise horror hit....FRIGHT NIGHT! We laugh our way though the one-liners, amazing special effects, and pleated pants. We get into the background of how the film  worked in elements Stephen Kings Salem Lot, Holland's jaded view of the industry at the time which paid off big, and much more. ENJOY!

We wrap up our Friday the 13th voyage on this great holiday with parts 3 & 4. We had so much fun talking Disco Jason, merchandise, muddled time lines, Joe Zito being a disturbed man, and more! We had a lot of fun with this series.

We are approaching FRIDAY THE 13th this month so it is only fitting we explore some of the franchises films. We start off with pts 1 & 2 in this episode. We talk Kevin Bacon, Tom Savini, final girls, and a whole lot of confusion in time lines! Join in for a lot of fun and laughs about one of the genres greats!
