It's becoming increasingly difficult for businesses to remain relevant if they don't have a digital adoption strategy. Now that the bar has been set, there are certain expectations that clients and consumers have with businesses they interact with. This podcast episode explores what digital transformation involves and how to implement it properly. Host: Annie-Mei Forster. Guests: Steven Kouloumendas and Chris MacKellar. Any.Talk is an Anywise production.
Anywise always had a belief that they would be able to be a company that could not only make money but be good corporate citizens and give back to the community. In 2018, Anywise became a B-Corporation which recognises the 20% of profit that Anywise puts aside for philanthropic pursuits. Consumers want to do business with companies that are ethically-minded, not just there to sell a product or service. Listen to the full episode to learn more. Host: Annie-Mei Forster. Guests: Adam Evans and Steven Kouloumendas
Are you a not-for-profit or charity looking to learn project management skills or write government grants? Anywise has recently launched our Anywise AIDE program, which is one of just many ways that Anywise gives back to the community. We don't just want to show you how to do something once, but rather take you on a journey and show you how you can implement the right processes and tools in your workplace. We also want to build long lasting relationships, so that charities and not-for-profits can reach out to us if they need our help later on down the track.
What resources are needed to effectively mobilise a team and why is team mobilisation important? Anywise prides itself on being able to mobilise teams and always choosing the best people to make up those teams. In this episode of Any.Talk we discuss what it means to mobilise teams for 2 year plus projects, which involve R&D, as well as design.
Why is innovation so important for small businesses? And why is it sometimes more difficult for larger organisations to innovate? Today we're going to talk about change, changing the norm and who is more willing to adopt change
Working from home has become the norm since the COVID-19 pandemic swept the globe, but when it comes to managing a company where all its employees are working from home - how does a management team do that and what are the challenges?
Host - Annie-Mei Forster
Guest - Anywise General Manager Steven Kouloumendas and Managing Director Adam Evans
Today on the show we're talking about t-shaped people and why they make good team players. So why does Anywise hire consultants who possess t-shaped characteristics? And what characteristics does a person need to be considered t-shaped? Find out the answers to all these questions on the show and much more.
When it comes to managing through a crisis, such as the COVID-19 pandemic it helps to be a company that is able to adapt quickly to change and has innovation at its core. Some companies found the move to working with a remote team very challenging but Anywise was able to pivot fairly easily since we already had the right tools in place to work remotely without it disrupting the workflow too much. Of course that isn't to say working from home has come easily to everyone and Anywise has had to deal with unforeseen challenges and project delays just like other organisations. However, the management team decided early on that transparency with staff and keeping in touch with each other came before worrying about deadlines that had to be met. This year has been about being flexible and letting people get work done when they can, especially for those who have had to homeschool their kids while juggling a full time job.
Anywise is a consulting firm based in Melbourne, bringing you a new podcast about people and projects. We're going to take a deep dive into project management, innovation and technology. In this episode we look at what was the motivation behind Adam Evans starting the company and why the values he learned in the army have stuck with him throughout his life. Guests: Anywise Managing Director Adam Evans and General Manager Steve Kouloumendas. Host: Annie-Mei Forster
